Formerly known as Ocean Hammock, this breeze-fueled, linksy layout is home to one of the biggest events of the PGA Champions Tour, the Ginn Championship, and is lauded for its challenge and beauty. Once every few decades a piece of land is made available for the creation of a golf masterpiece. In the case of The Ocean Course at Hammock Beach along Florida's northeast coastline in Palm Coast in between St. Augustine and Daytona Beach, the artist is golf course designer and legend Jack Nicklaus. This pristine parcel of oceanfront property is set amidst the dunes and natural landscape on Florida's northeast coast and features more ocean play than any other golf course on the state's east coast and is also Florida's first oceanfront golf course built since the 1920's! With six holes that put the players right on the very edge of the Atlantic Ocean, come see for yourself how oceanfront golf was truly meant to be played.

An interesting and challenging course for the better golfer. However, it is pricey.

I liked the layout of this. A challenging course from the middle and the back tees. You have to play this course!
